Fees

Sea Cadets / League Cadets Fees
The initial cost to join as a Sea Cadet or League Cadet includes a membership fee of $210 and a one-time uniform fee of $100 for a total of $310. Each year on the cadet's enrollment anniversary the membership fee must be renewed. Some locally arranged trainings do have fees and depending on their locations there may be personal travel expenses.  All summer and winter advanced trainings have their own fee structure.

Adult Volunteer Fees
The membership fee to join as an Adult Volunteer is $40. Each year on the adult volunteer's enrollment anniversary the membership fee must be renewed. Adult volunteers are exempt from paying for locally arranged trainings and when volunteering for summer and winter trainings.

Fee Payment
All fees are to be paid with personal check, money order to USNSCC or through Zelle. Send Zelle payments to [email protected]. Fees are not to be paid until after the information session.
Picture
We hold periodic information sessions for prospective cadets, their parent/guardians, and adult volunteers who are interested in learning more about the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps. In order to join Escondido Battalion or Training Ship Kit Carson, attendance at an information session is mandatory and must be completed before an application is submitted. To get started, contact us using the form below. A staff member will contact you to answer any basic questions you may have about the program and let you know when and where the next information session will be held.  After attending an information session, you have the option to visit our unit for the day before making a commitment.

All prospective cadets must attend an information session before enrolling. Cadets must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you are transferring from another unit, please indicate this in the comment section of the form.
