Sea Cadet/Leaguers Application Forms
You will need the following forms to apply to the Sea Cadets or Navy League Cadets program. Note that you or your child must attend a mandatory information session before turning in these forms as outlined on the How to Join link above.
You may bring these application forms with you to the information session if you would like, but do not sign them until you've spoken with the Commanding Officer. Once signed, application forms and fees are to be turned in to the Administration Officer.

A medical self-assessment. Must also provide a copy of current immunizations record
Report of Medical Examination

A medical examination similar to a high school sports physical is required for all cadet applicants to the Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) or Navy League Cadet Corps (NLCC). No one will be denied admission to the NSCC/NLCC due to a medical disability. Where a medical condition precludes full, unlimited participation, a Request for Accommodation (Page 9 and 10 below) may be presented by the parent or guardian for review so the cadet may participate in NSCC activities to the maximum extent possible

For prior service applicants, must also provide a copy of your Record of Discharge (DD214).

Must make 3 copies of this form and have them filled out by three acquaintances.

A medical self-assessment. Adult applicants must be in good health commensurate with their age group and be free from any ailment or condition that would prevent them from satisfactorily performing their primary duty of supervising youth. NOTE: Adults not physically qualified to perform all duties may still participate with a waiver from NHQ considering the parameters of their expected contribution to the NSCC program.

Sea Cadets / League Cadets Fees
The initial cost to join as a Sea Cadet or League Cadet includes a membership fee of $200 and a one-time uniform fee of $100. Each year on the cadet's enrollment anniversary the membership fee must be renewed. Some locally arranged trainings do have fees and depending on their locations there may be personal travel expenses. All summer and winter advanced trainings have their own fee structure.
Adult Volunteer Fees
The membership fee to join as an Adult Volunteer is $20. Each year on the adult volunteer's enrollment anniversary the membership fee must be renewed. Adult volunteers are exempt from paying for locally arranged trainings and when volunteering for summer and winter trainings, however adult volunteers may incur personal travel expenses for all trainings.

All fees are to be paid with personal check, money order to USNSCC or through Zelle. Send Zelle payments to [email protected]. Fees are not to be paid until application forms have been signed by the Commanding Officer. Once the CO has signed your application forms, fees must be paid directly. All fees are non-refundable.
