We hold periodic information sessions for prospective cadets, their parent/guardians, and adult volunteers who are interested in learning more about the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps. In order to join Escondido Battalion or Training Ship Kit Carson, attendance at an information session is mandatory and must be completed before an application is submitted. To get started, contact us using the form below. A staff member will contact you to answer any basic questions you may have about the program and let you know when and where the next information session will be held.  After attending an information session, you have the option to visit our unit for the day before making a commitment.

All prospective Cadets and Officers/Instructors must attend a mandatory orientation or information session before enrolling. Cadets must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

You (or your child) will have the option to visit our unit for the day, before making a commitment, to see if this program is the right fit for you. 

Prospective Cadets must have a parent or guardian's permission to join, and they must attend the information session with you.
